The SGS-Thomson ST486DX is really a Cyrix Cx486DX in disguise. As you all know by now, in their early days, Cyrix had licensing agreements with Texas Instruments and SGS-Thomson to use their production facilities. These agreements allowed the aforementioned companies to market Cyrix's parts under their own names.
