IIT 2C87-8 [flip chip]   []   []   [hide data]   [close image viewer]
The IIT 2C87 was the first Intel 287 clone. It was introduced in 1989 and has about the same speed as the Intel 287XL. The 2C87 implements the full 387 instruction set. It is available for speeds of up to 20 MHz.

There is also a rare 25MHz version - too fast for almost every 286.
